Daisy- Mini Goldendoodle

Daisy is our Mini Goldendoodle. She was born April 29, 2011, and came home in July, 2011. She has been an awesome dog right from the start...easy to train, friendly to everyone, and great with our kids.
No one can sneak into our house...Daisy hears their footsteps on the deck and lets us know! Once they're in the door, Daisy runs to great them. Everyone who meets Daisy loves her. All you have to do is pat your chest, and Daisy will jump up for a hug or maybe a little dance.

Daisy would love to get in the kennel with Avalie's puppies. We decided she is saying,"I'll hug them and kiss them and call them all George!"

*Daisy now lives with our grandkids. They wanted a puppy, but mom works, and didn't have time for proper training. Since Daisy loves them all, we decided to let her go there....just a mile from us.

Chico, Poodle

Chico is a male miniature poodle, and he is the Poo in Doodles and Poo. He was born August 24, 2010, and came to stay with us in March, 2013. He settled right in! He was raised with small children and other pets, and loves both. In fact, Chico loves anyone who is willing to pay attention to him. He loves to run and play, but is just as happy to lie around the house and nap. But his favorite thing is just to have someone pet him....and if you stop too soon, he'll pat you with his paw to tell you to keep at it!

After his stay with us, Chico went on to live with a family in Winnipeg, where I'm sure he is very happily spoiled!

Avalie- Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Avalie is our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, blenheim colour, with the blenheim spot on the top of her head.  She was born January 25, 2013, and we brought her home on April 13, 2013. She's a sweetheart, who loves to cuddle. She was easy to train. We made her a box with newspaper and soaker pads. Within two or three weeks she was going to the box on her own. Once the weather warmed up, she started going outside.
Avalie now weighs about 12.5 lbs.

Avalie's pregnancy was NOT planned. We now know just how quickly this can happen and won't make the same mistakes again! Even though not planned, the puppies appear to be very healthy and are steadily gaining weight. Avalie is an awesome mommy!

Bitsy- Mini Goldendoodle

Bitsy is one of Daisy's puppies. She was the runt of the litter, and Danica couldn't let her go!

She is now full grown and weighs about 14.5 lbs....still a little runt.

Harley- Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

After getting Avalie, I couldn't resist adding just one more Cavalier to our family. 

Harley was born the end of March, 2013, and he is Ruby, with some white markings. He is such a silky, soft coat!  He was a scrawny little guy when he came home, but has filled out quite nicely, and is very solid. As of October, 2014, he weighed 20 lbs., and the vet said he's a little over weight!

He is the most affectionate of all our dogs.
